1. 오늘은 종려주일입니다. 예수님께서 십자가에서 죽으시기 위하여 예루살렘성으로 들어오신 것을 기념하는 주일입니다. 따라서 이번 한주간은 고난주간으로서 우리의 죄를 대속하신 주님의 고난을 묵상하고 감사하며 재헌신하기를 기도합니다. 오늘부터 우리 두 교회가 합동으로 예배를 드리려고 계획했으나 Pandemic사태로 인하여 부득이 5월 첫 주일로 연기하게 되었습니다. Today is Palm Sunday. It is the Sunday that we commemorate Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. He did this in order to die on the cross for our sins. Therefore, this week should be an opportunity for us to meditate on and be grateful for Jesus Christ our Savior, who redeemed us from our sin.

2. 코로나바이러스의 확산을 막기 위하여 정부가 Stay-At-Home 명령을 내렸으므로  4월 한달 동안에는 각 가정별로 주일예배를 드리기 바랍니다. 주님께서 여러분 식구들 모두를 보호하시기를 기도합니다. In order to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, Arizona state government has issued stay-at-home orders. Considering this, for the month of April, we ask that each family have worship service at home. We pray that God will protect every one of your families.

3. 하나님께서 허락하시면 5월 첫 주일에 우리 교회의 헌장 개정안을 채택할 예정입니다. 헌장 개정안은 우리의 홈페이지와 카카오톡에 게시되어 있으므로 참고하기 바랍니다. God willing, we will gather together on the first week of May and confirm our new church’s bylaws. The bylaws can be seen on our homepage and our Kakao talk group chat.

4. 교회이름 공모에 참여해주신 성도님들께 감사드립니다. 투표결과를 두고 청지기회의를 하였는데, 먼저 교회내 성도간 소통이 부족했고 함께 예배 드리며 교제하지 못한 시점에서 서둘러 진행하지는 않았는지 되돌아보았습니다. 이에 일단 교회이름 변경은 잠정 보류하는 것으로 의견을 모았습니다. Thank you for participating in the church name contest. The voting result came out, so we had a stewardship meeting. First, we admitted the lack of communication among the members and might be rushing into this at this time. Therefore, we decided to take more time to seek God's will and be guided.
