1. 금년에 우리 모두가 함께 도전할 목표는 ‘힘을 다하여 기도하라.’ 입니다. 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 믿음의 기도에 헌신함으로써 주님의 뜻을 이루어 드리기를 바랍니다. 우리 모두가 기도하는 주님의 제자, 기도하는 가정, 기도하는 주일학교, 기도하는 교회를 이루기 위해 힘써야 하겠습니다. 
특별히 현재 우리 교회는 새로운 담임목사 청빙을 준비하고 있으므로 주님의 뜻이 이루어지기 위해서 우리 모두가 한 마음으로 기도할 때입니다.  청빙위원회의 활동을 위해서 기도를 바랍니다.  Our churchwide goal for this year is “Devote Yourselves to Prayer.” We urge you to do the will of God by dedicating yourself to faithful prayer knowing that God will rejoice in it. We should all strive to become praying disciples, praying families, praying Sunday School groups, and a praying church. Especially now that our church is preparing to have a new pastor, it is time for all of us to pray with one heart for the Lord's will to be done.  Please pray for the work of the Senior Pastor Search Committee.

2. 담임목사 청빙위원회는 지난 주일에 김동식 목사님을 담임목사 후보로 교회에 제청하고 9월 3일 주일에 임시회원총회를 할 것을 광고하였습니다. 이미 나누어 드린 김동식 목사님의 지원서류와 인터뷰 녹취록을 참조하시고 기도하기를 바랍니다. 다음 주일(9월 3일)에 열리는 임시회원 회원총회에서 무기명 투표로 가부를 결정하게 됩니다.  The pastor search committee presented Pastor Don Kim as the final candidate for the lead pastor position to the church last Sunday and announced that a special congregation meeting will be held on next Sunday (Sep. 3). Please review the supporting documents and a transcript of the interview provided for Pastor Don Kim and pray about it. The anonymous vote to make the decision will take place at the upcoming special congregation meeting next Sunday. 
 
3. 지난 주일에 이어서 오늘도 어린이 주일학교는 교회당 어린이 놀이터에서 물놀이를 합니다. 주일학교 선생님들의 수고에 감사드립니다.  Continuing from last Sunday, today the Children’s Sunday School is having a water playtime at the church playground.  We are grateful for the hard work of the Sunday School teachers.
