1. 신명기 4:1-9 (개역개정/NIV)
4:1 이스라엘아 이제 내가 너희에게 가르치는 규례와 법도를 듣고 준행하라 그리하면 너희가 살 것이요 너희 조상의 하나님 여호와께서 너희에게 주시는 땅에 들어가서 그것을 얻게 되리라
2 내가 너희에게 명령하는 말을 너희는 가감하지 말고 내가 너희에게 내리는 너희 하나님 여호와의 명령을 지키라
3 여호와께서 바알브올의 일로 말미암아 행하신 바를 너희가 눈으로 보았거니와 바알브올을 따른 모든 사람을 너희의 하나님 여호와께서 너희 가운데에서 멸망시키셨으되
4 오직 너희의 하나님 여호와께 붙어 떠나지 않은 너희는 오늘까지 다 생존하였느니라
5 내가 나의 하나님 여호와께서 명령하신 대로 규례와 법도를 너희에게 가르쳤나니 이는 너희가 들어가서 기업으로 차지할 땅에서 그대로 행하게 하려 함인즉
6 너희는 지켜 행하라 이것이 여러 민족 앞에서 너희의 지혜요 너희의 지식이라 그들이 이 모든 규례를 듣고 이르기를 이 큰 나라 사람은 과연 지혜와 지식이 있는 백성이로다 하리라
7 우리 하나님 여호와께서 우리가 그에게 기도할 때마다 우리에게 가까이 하심과 같이 그 신이 가까이 함을 얻은 큰 나라가 어디 있느냐
8 오늘 내가 너희에게 선포하는 이 율법과 같이 그 규례와 법도가 공의로운 큰 나라가 어디 있느냐
9 오직 너는 스스로 삼가며 네 마음을 힘써 지키라 그리하여 네가 눈으로 본 그 일을 잊어버리지 말라 네가 생존하는 날 동안에 그 일들이 네 마음에서 떠나지 않도록 조심하라 너는 그 일들을 네 아들들과 네 손자들에게 알게 하라
4:1 Hear now, O Israel, the decrees and laws I am about to teach you. Follow them so that you may live and may go in and take possession of the land that the LORD, the God of your fathers, is giving you.
2 Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the LORD your God that I give you.
3 You saw with your own eyes what the LORD did at Baal Peor. The LORD your God destroyed from among you everyone who followed the Baal of Peor,
4 but all of you who held fast to the LORD your God are still alive today.
5 See, I have taught you decrees and laws as the LORD my God commanded me, so that you may follow them in the land you are entering to take possession of it.
6 Observe them carefully, for this will show your wisdom and understanding to the nations, who will hear about all these decrees and say, "Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people."
7 What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the LORD our God is near us whenever we pray to him
8 And what other nation is so great as to have such righteous decrees and laws as this body of laws I am setting before you today
9 Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.

3:13 악한 사람들과 속이는 자들은 더욱 악하여져서 속이기도 하고 속기도 하나니
14 그러나 너는 배우고 확신한 일에 거하라 너는 네가 누구에게서 배운 것을 알며
15 또 어려서부터 성경을 알았나니 성경은 능히 너로 하여금 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음으로 말미암아 구원에 이르는 지혜가 있게 하느니라
16 모든 성경은 하나님의 감동으로 된 것으로 교훈과 책망과 바르게 함과 의로 교육하기에 유익하니
17 이는 하나님의 사람으로 온전하게 하며 모든 선한 일을 행할 능력을 갖추게 하려 함이라
3:13 while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it,
15 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

15:5 나는 포도나무요 너희는 가지라 그가 내 안에, 내가 그 안에 거하면 사람이 열매를 많이 맺나니 나를 떠나서는 너희가 아무 것도 할 수 없음이라
15:5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.


5. 요한계시록 22:19 (개역개정/NIV)
22:19 만일 누구든지 이 두루마리의 예언의 말씀에서 제하여 버리면 하나님이 이 두루마리에 기록된 생명나무와 및 거룩한 성에 참여함을 제하여 버리시리라
22:19 And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
