ㅇ 본 문 : 사도행전 26:1-23
26:1 아그립바가 바울에게 이르되 너를 위하여 말하기를 네게 허락하노라 하니 이에 바울이 손을 들어 변명하되
2 아그립바 왕이여 유대인이 고발하는 모든 일을 오늘 당신 앞에서 변명하게 된 것을 다행히 여기나이다
3 특히 당신이 유대인의 모든 풍속과 문제를 아심이니이다 그러므로 내 말을 너그러이 들으시기를 바라나이다
4 내가 처음부터 내 민족과 더불어 예루살렘에서 젊었을 때 생활한 상황을 유대인이 다 아는 바라
5 일찍부터 나를 알았으니 그들이 증언하려 하면 내가 우리 종교의 가장 엄한 파를 따라 바리새인의 생활을 하였다고 할 것이라
6 이제도 여기 서서 심문 받는 것은 하나님이 우리 조상에게 약속하신 것을 바라는 까닭이니
7 이 약속은 우리 열두 지파가 밤낮으로 간절히 하나님을 받들어 섬김으로 얻기를 바라는 바인데 아그립바 왕이여 이 소망으로 말미암아 내가 유대인들에게 고소를 당하는 것이니이다
8 당신들은 하나님이 죽은 사람을 살리심을 어찌하여 못 믿을 것으로 여기나이까
9 나도 나사렛 예수의 이름을 대적하여 많은 일을 행하여야 될 줄 스스로 생각하고
10 예루살렘에서 이런 일을 행하여 대제사장들에게서 권한을 받아 가지고 많은 성도를 옥에 가두며 또 죽일 때에 내가 찬성 투표를 하였고
11 또 모든 회당에서 여러 번 형벌하여 강제로 모독하는 말을 하게 하고 그들에 대하여 심히 격분하여 외국 성에까지 가서 박해하였고
12 그 일로 대제사장들의 권한과 위임을 받고 다메섹으로 갔나이다
13 왕이여 정오가 되어 길에서 보니 하늘로부터 해보다 더 밝은 빛이 나와 내 동행들을 둘러 비추는지라
14 우리가 다 땅에 엎드러지매 내가 소리를 들으니 히브리 말로 이르되 사울아 사울아 네가 어찌하여 나를 박해하느냐 가시채를 뒷발질하기가 네게 고생이니라
15 내가 대답하되 주님 누구시니이까 주께서 이르시되 나는 네가 박해하는 예수라
16 일어나 너의 발로 서라 내가 네게 나타난 것은 곧 네가 나를 본 일과 장차 내가 네게 나타날 일에 너로 종과 증인을 삼으려 함이니
17 이스라엘과 이방인들에게서 내가 너를 구원하여 그들에게 보내어
18 그 눈을 뜨게 하여 어둠에서 빛으로, 사탄의 권세에서 하나님께로 돌아오게 하고 죄 사함과 나를 믿어 거룩하게 된 무리 가운데서 기업을 얻게 하리라 하더이다
19 아그립바 왕이여 그러므로 하늘에서 보이신 것을 내가 거스르지 아니하고
20 먼저 다메섹과 예루살렘에 있는 사람과 유대 온 땅과 이방인에게까지 회개하고 하나님께로 돌아와서 회개에 합당한 일을 하라 전하므로
21 유대인들이 성전에서 나를 잡아 죽이고자 하였으나
22 하나님의 도우심을 받아 내가 오늘까지 서서 높고 낮은 사람 앞에서 증언하는 것은 선지자들과 모세가 반드시 되리라고 말한 것밖에 없으니
23 곧 그리스도가 고난을 받으실 것과 죽은 자 가운데서 먼저 다시 살아나사 이스라엘과 이방인들에게 빛을 전하시리라 함이니이다 하니라
26:1 Then Agrippa said to Paul, "You have permission to speak for yourself." So Paul motioned with his hand and began his defense:
2 "King Agrippa, I consider myself fortunate to stand before you today as I make my defense against all the accusations of the Jews,
3 and especially so because you are well acquainted with all the Jewish customs and controversies. Therefore, I beg you to listen to me patiently.
4 "The Jews all know the way I have lived ever since I was a child, from the beginning of my life in my own country, and also in Jerusalem.
5 They have known me for a long time and can testify, if they are willing, that according to the strictest sect of our religion, I lived as a Pharisee.
6 And now it is because of my hope in what God has promised our fathers that I am on trial today.
7 This is the promise our twelve tribes are hoping to see fulfilled as they earnestly serve God day and night. O king, it is because of this hope that the Jews are accusing me.
8 Why should any of you consider it incredible that God raises the dead
9 "I too was convinced that I ought to do all that was possible to oppose the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
10 And that is just what I did in Jerusalem. On the authority of the chief priests I put many of the saints in prison, and when they were put to death, I cast my vote against them.
11 Many a time I went from one synagogue to another to have them punished, and I tried to force them to blaspheme. In my obsession against them, I even went to foreign cities to persecute them.
12 "On one of these journeys I was going to Damascus with the authority and commission of the chief priests.
13 About noon, O king, as I was on the road, I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, blazing around me and my companions.
14 We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice saying to me in Aramaic, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me It is hard for you to kick against the goads."
15 "Then I asked, "Who are you, Lord " ""I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting," the Lord replied.
16 "Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen of me and what I will show you.
17 I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them
18 to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me."
19 "So then, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the vision from heaven.
20 First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and to the Gentiles also, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds.
21 That is why the Jews seized me in the temple courts and tried to kill me.
22 But I have had God's help to this very day, and so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen--
23 that the Christ would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would proclaim light to his own people and to the Gentiles."

3:5 나는 팔일 만에 할례를 받고 이스라엘 족속이요 베냐민 지파요 히브리인 중의 히브리인이요 율법으로는 바리새인이요
6 열심으로는 교회를 박해하고 율법의 의로는 흠이 없는 자라
3:5 circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee;
6 as for zeal, persecuting the church; as for legalistic righteousness, faultless.

3. 요한복음 3:35-36
3:35 아버지께서 아들을 사랑하사 만물을 다 그의 손에 주셨으니
36 아들을 믿는 자에게는 영생이 있고 아들에게 순종하지 아니하는 자는 영생을 보지 못하고 도리어 하나님의 진노가 그 위에 머물러 있느니라
3:35 The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands.
36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."

20:18 뭇 백성이 우레와 번개와 나팔 소리와 산의 연기를 본지라 그들이 볼 때에 떨며 멀리 서서
19 모세에게 이르되 당신이 우리에게 말씀하소서 우리가 들으리이다 하나님이 우리에게 말씀하시지 말게 하소서 우리가 죽을까 하나이다
20:18 When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance
19 and said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die."

5. 요한복음 8:12
8:12 예수께서 또 말씀하여 이르시되 나는 세상의 빛이니 나를 따르는 자는 어둠에 다니지 아니하고 생명의 빛을 얻으리라
8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

6. 마태복음 16:26
16:26 사람이 만일 온 천하를 얻고도 제 목숨을 잃으면 무엇이 유익하리요 사람이 무엇을 주고 제 목숨과 바꾸겠느냐
16:26 What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul

7. 요한복음 3:16
3:16 하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 그를 믿는 자마다 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이라
3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

8. 베드로후서 3:9
3:9 주의 약속은 어떤 이들이 더디다고 생각하는 것 같이 더딘 것이 아니라 오직 주께서는 너희를 대하여 오래 참으사 아무도 멸망하지 아니하고 다 회개하기에 이르기를 원하시느니라
3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
