1. 시편 1:1-6
1:1 복 있는 사람은 악인들의 꾀를 따르지 아니하며 죄인들의 길에 서지 아니하며 오만한 자들의 자리에 앉지 아니하고
2 오직 여호와의 율법을 즐거워하여 그의 율법을 주야로 묵상하는도다
3 그는 시냇가에 심은 나무가 철을 따라 열매를 맺으며 그 잎사귀가 마르지 아니함 같으니 그가 하는 모든 일이 다 형통하리로다
4 악인들은 그렇지 아니함이여 오직 바람에 나는 겨와 같도다
5 그러므로 악인들은 심판을 견디지 못하며 죄인들이 의인들의 모임에 들지 못하리로다
6 무릇 의인들의 길은 여호와께서 인정하시나 악인들의 길은 망하리로다
1:1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.
4 The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
6 for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

2. 에베소서 1:3-5
1:3 찬송하리로다 하나님 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지께서 그리스도 안에서 하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복을 우리에게 주시되
4 곧 창세 전에 그리스도 안에서 우리를 택하사 우리로 사랑 안에서 그 앞에 거룩하고 흠이 없게 하시려고
5 그 기쁘신 뜻대로 우리를 예정하사 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 자기의 아들들이 되게 하셨으니
1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,
4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love
5 he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,


3. 시편 34:17-20
34:17 의인이 부르짖으매 여호와께서 들으시고 그들의 모든 환난에서 건지셨도다
18 여호와는 마음이 상한 자를 가까이 하시고 충심으로 통회하는 자를 구원하시는도다
19 의인은 고난이 많으나 여호와께서 그의 모든 고난에서 건지시는도다
20 그의 모든 뼈를 보호하심이여 그 중에서 하나도 꺾이지 아니하도다
34:17 When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
20 He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.


4. 사도행전 14:22
14:22 제자들의 마음을 굳게 하여 이 믿음에 머물러 있으라 권하고 또 우리가 하나님의 나라에 들어가려면 많은 환난을 겪어야 할 것이라 하고
14:22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.


5. 시편 73:1-19
73:1 하나님이 참으로 이스라엘 중 마음이 정결한 자에게 선을 행하시나
2 나는 거의 넘어질 뻔하였고 나의 걸음이 미끄러질 뻔하였으니
3 이는 내가 악인의 형통함을 보고 오만한 자를 질투하였음이로다
4 그들은 죽을 때에도 고통이 없고 그 힘이 강건하며
5 사람들이 당하는 고난이 그들에게는 없고 사람들이 당하는 재앙도 그들에게는 없나니
6 그러므로 교만이 그들의 목걸이요 강포가 그들의 옷이며
7 살찜으로 그들의 눈이 솟아나며 그들의 소득은 마음의 소원보다 많으며
8 그들은 능욕하며 악하게 말하며 높은 데서 거만하게 말하며
9 그들의 입은 하늘에 두고 그들의 혀는 땅에 두루 다니도다
10 그러므로 그의 백성이 이리로 돌아와서 잔에 가득한 물을 다 마시며
11 말하기를 하나님이 어찌 알랴 지존자에게 지식이 있으랴 하는도다
12 볼지어다 이들은 악인들이라도 항상 평안하고 재물은 더욱 불어나도다
13 내가 내 마음을 깨끗하게 하며 내 손을 씻어 무죄하다 한 것이 실로 헛되도다
14 나는 종일 재난을 당하며 아침마다 징벌을 받았도다
15 내가 만일 스스로 이르기를 내가 그들처럼 말하리라 하였더라면 나는 주의 아들들의 세대에 대하여 악행을 행하였으리이다
16 내가 어쩌면 이를 알까 하여 생각한즉 그것이 내게 심한 고통이 되었더니
17 하나님의 성소에 들어갈 때에야 그들의 종말을 내가 깨달았나이다
18 주께서 참으로 그들을 미끄러운 곳에 두시며 파멸에 던지시니
19 그들이 어찌하여 그리 갑자기 황폐되었는가 놀랄 정도로 그들은 전멸하였나이다
73:1 Truly God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.
2 But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled, my steps had nearly slipped.
3 For I was envious of the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
4 For they have no pangs until death; their bodies are fat and sleek.
5 They are not in trouble as others are; they are not stricken like the rest of mankind.
6 Therefore pride is their necklace; violence covers them as a garment.
7 Their eyes swell out through fatness; their hearts overflow with follies.
8 They scoff and speak with malice; loftily they threaten oppression.
9 They set their mouths against the heavens, and their tongue struts through the earth.
10 Therefore his people turn back to them, and find no fault in them.
11 And they say, “How can God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?”
12 Behold, these are the wicked; always at ease, they increase in riches.
13 All in vain have I kept my heart clean and washed my hands in innocence.
14 For all the day long I have been stricken and rebuked every morning.
15 If I had said, “I will speak thus,” I would have betrayed the generation of your children.
16 But when I thought how to understand this, it seemed to me a wearisome task,
17 until I went into the sanctuary of God; then I discerned their end.
18 Truly you set them in slippery places; you make them fall to ruin.
19 How they are destroyed in a moment, swept away utterly by terrors!

6. 시편 33:11
33:11 여호와의 계획은 영원히 서고 그의 생각은 대대에 이르리로다
33:11 The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations.

7. 에스라 10:3
10:3 곧 내 주의 교훈을 따르며 우리 하나님의 명령을 떨며 준행하는 자의 가르침을 따라 이 모든 아내와 그들의 소생을 다 내보내기로 우리 하나님과 언약을 세우고 율법대로 행할 것이라
10:3 Therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all these wives and their children, according to the counsel of my lord and of those who tremble at the commandment of our God, and let it be done according to the Law.

8. 이사야 31:4
31:4 여호와께서 이같이 내게 이르시되 큰 사자나 젊은 사자가 자기의 먹이를 움키고 으르렁거릴 때에 그것을 치려고 여러 목자를 불러 왔다 할지라도 그것이 그들의 소리로 말미암아 놀라지 아니할 것이요 그들의 떠듦으로 말미암아 굴복하지 아니할 것이라 이와 같이 나 만군의 여호와가 강림하여 시온 산과 그 언덕에서 싸울 것이라
31:4 For thus the LORD said to me, “As a lion or a young lion growls over his prey, and when a band of shepherds is called out against him he is not terrified by their shouting or daunted at their noise, so the LORD of hosts will come down to fight on Mount Zion and on its hill.

9. 고린도후서 12:9-10
12:9 나에게 이르시기를 내 은혜가 네게 족하도다 이는 내 능력이 약한 데서 온전하여짐이라 하신지라 그러므로 도리어 크게 기뻐함으로 나의 여러 약한 것들에 대하여 자랑하리니 이는 그리스도의 능력이 내게 머물게 하려 함이라
10 그러므로 내가 그리스도를 위하여 약한 것들과 능욕과 궁핍과 박해와 곤고를 기뻐하노니 이는 내가 약한 그 때에 강함이라
12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
